Summary
I'm an IT Support and Technician with solid hands-on experience in both Linux and Windows environments. I'm skilled in system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting, whether it's Ubuntu, BusyBox-based systems, or Windows desktops and servers. I enjoy using command-line tools, scripts, and practical problem-solving to keep systems running smoothly and efficiently.
Beyond software and operating systems, I'm also experienced with hardware, assembling and upgrading PCs or laptops, diagnosing faults, and performing repairs or replacements when needed. My approach is always focused on reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.

Projects
Outside of work, I spend most of my time building and experimenting with Linux-based projects.
My focus is on simplicity, performance, and understanding systems end-to-end. I enjoy creating lightweight tools, maintaining my own Linux distribution, and running self-hosted services to learn and improve my infrastructure skills.
Venom Linux — A minimal linux distribution (stepped down as dev) [project link]
A lightweight Linux distribution focused on simplicity and performance.
- Built from scratch
- Package manager written in POSIX shell script
- Source based distro
Alice Linux — Minimal busybox based linux distribution (current main dev) [project link]
A lightweight Linux distribution focused on minimalism.
- Built using BusyBox with a minimal userland
- Uses Musl as core C library
- Uses runit for service management
- Uses Clang/LLVM as main compiler
- Designed for fast boot and low resource usage
sfm — Terminal File Manager
A lightweight file manager designed for terminal use.
- Works with standard Unix tools (no heavy dependencies)
- Supports file preview, search, and batch operations
- Customizable key bindings and workflows
sirc — IRC Client (C)
A terminal-based IRC client built in C.
- Multi-server support
- Secure authentication (SASL)
- Clean and efficient text-based interface
Other Tools
- Service management utilities for runit-based systems
- QEMU-based virtual machine management tools
- Experimental Wayland compositor project (C, wlroots)
Self-Hosting and Infrastructure
I maintain a personal self-hosted environment to manage services, host projects, and continuously improve my infrastructure skills.
Infrastructure
- VPS infrastructure (Contabo) for hosting public-facing services and workloads
- Docker for running and managing selected containerized services
- WireGuard for secure remote access
Services
- Vaultwarden (password management)
- Pi-hole (network-wide ad blocking)
- ownCloud (file storage and sync)
- Self-hosted Git services (stagit — static git page generator)
Approach
- Focus on reliability, simplicity, and full control over data
- Prefer self-hosted solutions over third-party services where practical
- Build environments that are easy to maintain, monitor, and recover
- Use projects as a way to experiment and improve real-world infrastructure skills
